Loudon, New Hampshire • Saturday, June 26, 2010

Colin BraunANOTHER SOLID FINISH - Colin Braun and the No. 16 team put together their third solid finish in as many starts for the rookie. Even after a single-car spin and damage from a multi-car accident, the team and driver rallied back to finish 11th at Road America last weekend. It is Braun's third consecutive race with a finish of 11th or better.

REPEAT OFFENDER - For the second race in a row, Braun was named the Raybestos Rookie of the Race after his 11th-place finish at Road America. This is his fourth Rookie of the Race honor this season. Braun is currently third in the rookie of the year standings behind Brian Scott and teammate Ricky Stenhouse Jr.

BRAUN AT NEW HAMPSHIRE - This weekend's start at NHMS will mark Braun's first in the NASCAR Nationwide Series. He has made two previous starts in the Camping World Truck Series, finishing ninth after starting ninth in last year's attempt.

ROUSH FENWAY AT NEW HAMPSHIRE - In the team's 22 starts at the one-mile NHMS, Roush Fenway Racing has one win, five top-fives, 11 top-10s, and 154 laps led. The win came from Carl Edwards back in 2006 after he led 58 of the 200 laps during the event.

ICKLER IN AT DAYTONA - Brian Ickler will make his return to the No. 16 Ford next weekend at Daytona International Speedway. This will be Ickler's third start in the No. 16 and fourth for Roush Fenway Racing. His last start came at Kentucky Speedway in the No. 6 Ford where he finished 14th after starting 21st. While he spent time with Roush Fenway at the open test in May, this will be Ickler's first start at the superspeedway.

NEW HAMPSHIRE CHASSIS SELECTION - Crew chief Rick Viers has selected RK-460 for this weekend's New England 200 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. This car was last raced earlier in the season by Braun at Phoenix International Raceway he started eighth and finished 34th after being involved in a multi-car incident on a restart.

QUOTES
Braun, on returning to New Hampshire and working with Rick Viers:

"I'm very excited to get up to New Hampshire this weekend. We didn't finish exactly how we wanted last weekend at Road America but it was a great team effort with Rick (Viers) and the guys to get the car back out on track in pretty good shape. I feel like Rick (Viers) did a really good job and I'm excited to see how much better we can get as a team. We had a solid run last year in the Truck Series at New Hampshire and I think we can build off of that this weekend."

Crew chief Rick Viers, on going to New Hampshire after his first week at Roush Fenway:
"After working with Colin this past weekend at Road America, I'm really looking forward going to Loudon with him and the No. 16 team. New Hampshire should be good for us and help us continue to move forward in the points. In order to be successful there, we will look for ways to help Colin (Braun) feel comfortable on entry into the corners and keep the car turning good in the center."
