Joliet, Illinois • Friday, July 9, 2010

BRAUN IS BACK - Colin Braun returns to the No. 16 Con-way Freight Ford this weekend for a six race stint. In his last four races, Braun has two top-10s and an average finish of 10.8. With the help of teammates Brian Ickler and Matt Kenseth, the No. 16 car is currently 18th in owner points, the highest it has been all season.

BRAUN AT CHICAGOLAND - His start this weekend at the 1.5-mile track will mark Braun's first in the Nationwide Series. He has made one previous start at Chicagoland in the Camping World Truck Series last season and finished third after starting 10th.

ROUSH FENWAY RACING AT CHICAGOLAND - In 26 Nationwide Series starts, Roush Fenway Racing has eight top-fives, 13 top-10s, two pole awards and 220 laps led. Like Daytona International Speedway, Chicagoland is one of four active tracks on the Nationwide Series circuit where Roush Fenway has yet to score a win.

CHICAGOLAND CHASSIS SELECTION - Crew chief Rick Viers has selected RK-356 for this weekend's Dollar General 300 at Chicagoland Speedway. This is the same chassis Braun raced to top-10 finishes at both Kentucky Speedway and Dover International Speedway earlier this season.

CON-WAY TWEET-UP- Braun and Con-way Freight will host a Tweet-up at Chicagoland Speedway on Friday, July 9, 2010 at 1 p.m. To learn more about the location, prizes and more, fans should follow www.twitter.com/ConwayRacing or www.twitter.com/colinbraun

QUOTES

Braun, on returning to the No. 16 team and heading to Chicagoland:
"I think Chicago is going to be a really good place for me to get back in the No. 16 Con-way Freight Ford. Thanks to a great finish by Brian (Ickler) last weekend, we have moved up further in the owner's point standings and are that much closer to reaching our goal. I had a really good run in the Truck Series here last year and I think I can build on that for this year. The car we are bringing this weekend has been really good to me and I would like to continue the streak of top-10s we've had with it."

Crew chief Rick Viers, on going to Chicago and working with Colin Braun:
"I'm really looking forward to the next six races with Colin in the car. And after last week's finish with Brian (Ickler) we are that much closer to reaching one of our goals of moving into the top-15 and working hard to reach the top-10. Colin and I like Chicagoland a lot and think it will be a great track for us to be very competitive at this weekend."
